An interpreter on a phone call
Tell whoever answers which language you speak. An interpreter joins the call, and the conversation continues in your language. This works for plan questions, enrollment, claims, and billing.
Written information in another language
Ask for plan documents, notices, and correspondence in your language. Tell us which language you prefer and we will note it so future letters go out that way.
Help filing a complaint
If you were not offered language help when you needed it, you can file a grievance and we will help you write it. Our non-discrimination notice explains how, including how to complain to the federal Office for Civil Rights.
You are never charged for interpreter or translation services, and you are never asked to bring a friend or family member to interpret for you.
