Licensed ACA / Marketplace Agent

Help individuals and families compare ACA marketplace plans, understand what financial help they qualify for, and enroll compliantly, with year-round Special Enrollment Period work alongside the Open Enrollment surge.

The work

What you will do.

  • Work company-provided leads by phone from our own lead-generation sites
  • Explain metal tiers, networks, deductibles, and drug coverage in plain language
  • Give truthful, documented answers about premium tax credits and cost-sharing reductions
  • Enroll consumers through approved Marketplace pathways with required consent documentation
  • Carry a heavier schedule through Open Enrollment
  • Work Special Enrollment Period cases year round
  • Follow up after enrollment so effectuation actually happens

Requirements

What the role requires.

  • Active health insurance license in at least one state, in good standing
  • Completed annual FFM registration and training, or willingness to complete it before starting
  • Signed Marketplace agreements for the current plan year
  • Strict adherence to Marketplace standards of conduct
  • Ability to pass carrier and regulatory background checks

Nice to have

What helps, but is not required.

  • Registrations with state-based marketplaces in addition to the FFM
  • Experience with enhanced direct enrollment platforms
  • Fluency in Spanish or another language our clients speak

Compensation

How pay works.

This role is commission-based. We walk through the full compensation structure, including how commissions and renewals work and what support the company provides, in the first interview, so you can compare it against what you earn today before either side invests more time.
